Frequently asked questions

Can I use my own logo as a watermark?
Yes. Switch to image mode and add a PNG, ideally one with a transparent background so only the logo shows. Set the corner and opacity, and it is placed on top of the video. The logo stays on your device the whole time, like the clip itself.
How do I make the watermark see-through?
Use the opacity control to make the watermark more or less transparent. A lower opacity lets the video show through, which is the usual look for a subtle brand mark in the corner. A higher opacity makes it bolder and harder to miss.
Where should I place the watermark?
A bottom corner is the common choice because it marks the clip without covering the action. You can place it in any of the four corners here. Pick the corner that stays clear of faces, captions and the main subject for most of the clip.
Will there be a watermark?
No. The output is your video, untouched apart from the change you asked for. There is no watermark, no logo and no overlay, and there is no paid tier to remove one.
Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser. Your video is read and processed on your own device, nothing is uploaded, and nothing is logged or stored.
