Resize Video
Resize a video to 1080p, 720p, 480p or a custom width, keeping the picture in proportion. A smaller frame means a smaller file and faster sharing. Runs on your device, with no upload and no sign-up.

Frequently asked questions
- Will resizing stretch or squash my video?
- No. You set one dimension and the other is worked out automatically to keep the original proportions, so circles stay round and faces are not stretched. The picture is scaled, never distorted.
- Does a smaller frame mean a smaller file?
- Usually, yes. Fewer pixels per frame means less data to store, so dropping a 1080p clip to 720p often cuts the file size noticeably. It is one of the simplest ways to make a video easier to send or upload.
- Can I make a video larger?
- You can set a bigger size, but scaling up cannot add detail that was not captured, so the result tends to look soft. Resizing down is where you get a clear benefit; resizing up is best avoided unless a platform demands a minimum size.
- Will there be a watermark?
- No. The output is your video, untouched apart from the change you asked for. There is no watermark, no logo and no overlay, and there is no paid tier to remove one.
- Is my video uploaded to a server?
- No. Everything runs locally in your browser. Your video is read and processed on your own device, nothing is uploaded, and nothing is logged or stored.
