Frequently asked questions

Do the clips need to be the same format or size?
It works most smoothly when the clips share the same resolution, frame rate and format, which is normal for videos shot on the same device. The clips are joined into one continuous file in the order you set. If they differ a lot, re-encoding each to a common size first gives the cleanest join.
Can I change the order of the clips?
Yes. Before you merge, move each clip up or down so they play in the sequence you want. The final video follows that order from top to bottom, so set it the way you want the story to run before starting.
Is there a limit on how many videos I can join?
There is no fixed cap from us, but everything runs on your own device, so very many or very large clips use a lot of memory and take longer. For a smooth result, join a handful at a time and merge the results if you have a long list.
Will there be a watermark?
No. The output is your video, untouched apart from the change you asked for. There is no watermark, no logo and no overlay, and there is no paid tier to remove one.
Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser. Your video is read and processed on your own device, nothing is uploaded, and nothing is logged or stored.
